Double E Rotoflux Rotary Unions

Double E Rotoflux rotary joints are designed and manufactured to solve many of the problems commonly associated with rotary unions, including corrosion, leaking, and vibration. Double E stocks a large inventory of standard rotary unions and offers short delivery times.

Double E Rotoflux rotary unions are built using only high-grade materials, including an all-brass housing, stainless steel rotors, and tungsten carbide seals. Rotoflux unions ensure that your high tolerance machinery works the way it was designed to – without added vibration or noise.

Advanced Design

The double ball bearing design of Rotoflux unions allows the rotor to rotate freely, without vibration or wobble. The stainless steel rotors are designed with an end pilot for high speed applications to ensure concentric rotation. A flanged rotor can be used on applications that require both clockwise and counterclockwise rotation. Stainless steel springs ensure corrosion-free performance throughout the life of the rotary union. Also, a short union is available for applications with limited space.

Emphasis on Seals

Double E Rotoflux unions have been designed with seals in mind. Tungsten carbide to carbon graphite seals are used for clean water, steam, air, vacuum, and hot oil applications. Tungsten carbide to tungsten carbide seals are used for applications with poorly filtered water, hydraulic oil, coolant, and abrasive fluids. All seal faces are micro-lapped for a perfect fit, ensuring that specific pressures on both sides of the seal remain in balance regardless of fluid or air pressure. A unique pin design prevents the rotation of the floating seal, and a Viton O-ring provides static sealing even in high temperatures and harsh chemical conditions.
