The WrinkleSTOP® No-Bow Spreader Roller is designed to remove wrinkles without distortion, marking, or stretching of the web. Unlike bowed or grooved rollers, it uses a smooth, straight, expanding surface that delivers extraordinary performance in wrinkle elimination across a wide range of materials. WrinkleSTOP® is the ideal for converters in printing, laminating, films and foils, coating, and other related industries.

  • Bowless, smooth roll produces zero-web distortion – WrinkleSTOP® will not mark, stretch, introduce wrinkles into the web, or send non-level web into other level sensitive devices such as moisture or weight meters. This prevents stressed or torn web center areas and altered centerline travel
  • Independent edge-to-edge adjustability while the web is in motion – Quickly alter the degree of expansion at each end cap. This allows for distortion to be corrected at earlier points in the line and gives total control of spreading action to meet the requirements of the specific application.
  • No special tools needed to adjust degree of spreading action - Provides productive, cost-effective performance
  • Directly replaces existing anti-wrinkle rollers or idlers with easy installation
  • Accepts and delivers web at any angle: WrinkleSTOP® works will with extremely short lead-in and lead-out web distances without sacrificing productivity. Saves space in your plant line, improves web runs, and allows replacement of existing limited-angle roll arrangements with fewer rolls.
