The Adjusta-Pull system is an angled nip roller system used to apply outward edge-traction for the elimination of wrinkles in web materials. The Adjusta-Pull system features dual opposing nip roll assemblies designed to pull the web outward, effectively eliminating wrinkles and ensuring consistent, smooth web handling. Engineered for textiles, nonwovens, paper and plastics, the Adjusta-Pull system eliminates wrinkles before they cause defects to the web – eliminating downtime and scrapped materials.

The Adjusta-Pull-SL2 provides a simple, mechanical, energy-free wrinkle-removal solution ideal for standard converting operations, while the Air-Loaded Adjusta-Pull-AL2 adds air-loaded precision, making it the preferred choice for high-speed lines or applications requiring fine nip-pressure control.

Adjusta-Pull-SL2

The Adjusta-Pull-SL2 is comprised of two opposing nip roll assemblies which pull the material outward to removal wrinkles and smooth web material. By increasing the angular displacement of the Adjusta-Pull-SL2 in the direction of the web flow increases the spreading action of the web. It’s this angular displacement of the nip rolls that determine the amount of spreading action on the web – the greater the angular displacement, the greater the amount of spreading. Multiple Adjust-Pull-SL2 can be arranged in sequences of multiple pairs for applications requiring additional web spreading.

The Adjusta-Pull-SL2 comes in standard 6” or 9” face lengths, with one rubber and one aluminum roller. Other rubber cover materials available as well as dual rubber covered roller configurations for applications with special requirements.

Air Loaded Adjusta-Pull-AL2

The Air Loaded Adjusta-Pull-AL2 boasts all the feature of the standard Adjusta-Pull-SL2 but adds an air loaded adjuster.

Easy to open and close, the Air Loaded Adjusta-Pull-AL2 allows for fast and easy web threading. The included pressure regulator helps to accurately adjusts the air pressure to accommodate all types of material. Remote open and close functionality can also be added.
